@Doctor-Phibes said in She didn't go to class that day.: . If you look at her bio on Wiki, it's obvious why she was picked. You noticed, did you, LOL. My Senator, Durbin, congratulated her on her nomination.

@George-K said in "He's a dictator.": @89th said in "He's a dictator.": Trump probably would've responded to the question with "Well I don't know, but Xi is a very powerful man. Beautiful power, many people have told me, some things good some things bad, but Xi is a very powerful man." You forgot the part where he said, "I know him very well." Xi is a very smart guy. So smart. Nobody knows smarter people than me. He's nearly as smart as me. People say to me all the time, how come you're so smart? I'm like a really, really smart person. So smart.

It was interesting but not unexpected. The problems with the domestic economy are starting to been seen in China. And, it certainly does not look like it is going to improve.

Walsh has always been pro-vet. He may be a drug-addled crazy but I think he's a more reliable role model than anyone elected.

@George-K said in Fast Rocket: Embed the fissile fuel particles in an ultra-low density aerogel matrix to achieve a critical mass assembly Utilize recent breakthroughs in high field, high temperature superconducting magnets to constrain fission fragment trajectories between moderator elements to minimize reactor mass. Ugh, that's the 5th invention I had in high school, I forgot about it.

@George-K said in Meanwhile, in Russia...: @Doctor-Phibes said in Meanwhile, in Russia...: Is there nothing Joe Biden can't do? Stay awake? Utter a complete, coherent sentence? Climb stairs? Walk of stage? Steal an election. Weaponise the FBI. Turn the USofA into a fascist dictatorship. Destroy the Trump family business. Russia is the only country on earth suffering from high inflation that wasn't caused by Joe Biden. I'd say that's pretty impressive.

Another potential Darwin Award nominee https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/11/16/bear-mauls-eco-activist-trying-to-prove-logging-emptied-den/ A bear in Poland’s Carpathian Mountains has mauled an eco-activist who was trying to prove the animal’s lair was abandoned due to logging. The German was airlifted to hospital following the attack and was said to be in a serious but stable condition. He had travelled to the bear’s den alongside another activist from the Wild Carpathians Initiative to check if the area had been affected by logging. The pair had expected the lair to be empty but the animal pursued them through the woods. The activist stumbled and fell before being mauled. [image: d567d1c9b7f756746b30c785916b0535]

Easy to campaign. Difficult to govern. I think that Rep. Johnson is finding this out.
